Is it okay to be gay?
In America these days, homosexuality has become accepted enough to the point where now we are talking about whether or not it is okay for gay people to get married. In China, however, people seem to be still talking about whether or not homosexuality should even be accepted in Chinese society. From what I hear, there are plenty of gay people in China who have not 'come out' because they are afraid of being ostracized by their family and community.
In America, the argument against homosexuality is often based on religious beliefs. The Bible speaks out against homosexuality quite clearly. In China, the argument against homosexuality is based more on traditional norms.
So what do you think about people who are gay? Can you accept them as friends? And why do you think some people are gay? Were they born that way or did they choose this 'lifestyle'?

i don't think the gay people have any difference with us. I can get well along with them. And i have question. Can a boy turn to be a gay after his heart being heavily broken by his ex-girlfriend?

To be honest,when I a child in primary school,I can`t accept it.Even be abominate who are gay.But,when I enough old to middle school,I can accept.It`s nothing serious that what some people to choose their lifestyle.All of people can control themselves lifestyle.

Of cause it's OK to be a gay.To be a man you want to be is the right of everyone.There are many people who are gay or lesbian around me,and i am totally get used to it.Some of my friends are homosexuality,and they are good.In my view,if you not to do any bad thing to others and the society,it's ok to be a gay.

I think it's okay to be gay.Although many people look down upon the gay but they are also the usual people and the gays don't break the laws. They have the right to be gay. In my opinion, we should respect the gays, not discriminate them.

In my opoinion, gay is a kind of love between humanbeeings,people has the right to choose if they can love others.For me, I prefer opposite sex love, but if homosexual love don't occur to me, I won't talk about it,I won't see the homosexual people as a kind of alien.If I have a chance to be friend with them,and if I appreciate their spirit quality.

going to go with yes.... society says no only because of religious pre-texts and the preoccupation of reprocreation. its deemed wrong by the majority therefore it must be. this is silly. people are allowed to make up their own minds. some are born that way. you as a person are a product of genetics and environment. nature vs. nurture. niether wins. they are symbiotic, if as a women you like women more yay! a man thats loves men, more flower power to you. just be yourself. good people will not care who you are and support you no matter.

In my opinion,gay is ok.Which means freedom love .we should accept it. what's more, our government should make some effective measures to protect them not being discriminative.

I honestly couldn't care less. What's the point of discriminating? It's their life, isn't it?
Acceptance is the way to go. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. What gender a person is attracted to makes absolutely no difference and there is no reason to judge them based on it.

We have acted a short play about homosexual love.In the play,I refused my best friend's feelings and selected to break with her.In fact,I don't mind homosexuality,I think it would not happen around me and it's not my business.I think everybody has right to choose his or her lover,no matter who they are.We can never look down upon them.I think I can make friends with people who is homosexuality.However,if one day it happened around,my friend expressed her love to me,I can't imagine that.It's too terrible.I don't know my choice.Maybe I woule choose to break with her like the role I have acted in the play.
In a word,I don't mind to make friends with gay,but not lesbian.Because I'm afraid she would express her love to me one day.
