Should animals have rights?
In America, most domesticated animals are protected by laws. For example, you could get in big trouble for killing a rat or a mouse if you were keeping them as pets. Dogs and cats,of course, are the most common pets in America and they receive a great deal of legal protection under our animal laws. This doesn't seem to be the case in China where you are free to do whatever you want with your animals.
But some people,even in America,argue that pets don't deserve such rights. After all, pets are not humans - they are animals! They shouldn't have rights! China is a developing country and people apparently have given as much thought to this question about animal rights.
So what do you think? Should dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals be protected under law? If you want to hurt (or even kill) your dog should you have the right to do so without worrying about getting in trouble for it?

human rights are created by humans. is sorry to say that a cat did not come up with the idea of freedom of religion . if you wish to release a animal in the zoo back into the wild, you most likely cost them their life. animals will make anything their 'natural' habitat. an animal in a zoo will have far less predators and shelter, food, and water amply supplied for them at all times. an animal, born into captivity, will not have as strong an instinct of hunting, and will not know how to do so successfully. if an animal is placed into the wild, it will alter the current adaptations of said wild population, because they have adapted. the captive animal has been out of that enviroment, and has not needed to change to fit in. new deseases will be mixed between populations, killing off animals from both parties. they will be intruding onto currently occupied habitats and will be attacked and killed because they do not know how to defend.

First of all,I must say that it is very merciless for us to hurt or kill a innocent life.For me,i think this kind of behaviour is unpardonable. Every life should have their right to exist. Animals have feelings too'they could feel pain and unhappy like our human beings. I think every life should earn respect in this world.

i think they should have rights,even though they are just animals they are not human beings,but
at least they are the creatures as well as human beings,they have lives,they are alive,so why shouldnt them have their rights?i dont think they are more humber than us.

I think even animal should also have the law to protect itselves.We human are more powerful than most of the creatures,so are it the reasons that we can kill or hurt them without thinking about them. What's more,we and other creatures including animal consists of the earth. There are all life.

It is human beings and other types of wildlife that constitute our diverse and beautiful world.First and foremost, the animals are the friends of human beings and they should live in harmony on the globe.in my opinion，we should pass some laws to protect the rights of the animals which are treated cruelly by some people. Only in this way can man and the animals live harmoniously.

i think animal is also life ,so they should have their rights.we are equal.nowadays,many animals are dying due to the human beings behavior,it is short of responsibility , every part of this world has its foundation ,if we ,human beings, make one of it disappear,this thing will give back bad affects.

Absolutely,they should have rights.Everything was born equally in the world.No one can in charge of others' lives(including the animals).So,not only we but also the government should take efforts to protect the lovely animals.

I am not interested in this topics because I did not and don't want to keep an animal as a pet.Supposing I did have a pet and I had great emotion in it and it was hurted by others'mistreat, I will argue with him and even take it in the court.

In my opinion,every creature should have rights including animals.As we all known,animals are human's friends,and they bring us a lot of happiness and happy time.If animals should not have right in the world,it is unfair to them.They also have their life style,their emotions,their habits and so on.Animals just like a person except saying a word.They have their own language,thoughts and ambitions.Although there are a lot of dangers for them to live,they just face the challenge bravely.Therefore,if we don't give some rights to animals,we the human are heartless and selfish.If animals have ringts,we can feel more happier and gat the best relationship in the world.

i love animals very much ,especially the dogs.i have kept several dogs ,and they really brought me a lot of happy memories.i cant accept that someone enjoy the dogs or cats as delicious food.i believe that all the animals had their own feelings and had right to enjoy their lives.i hope we can protect the annimals instead of eating or playing them

First of all,in my opinion,take a dog as an example,it deserves better protection as a pet than it just as an animal.If we keep a pet,of course we should treat it well. But what if they just hanging around?Who should be responsable for protecing these animals' right? I very support to set a series of laws to protect animals. I have seen so many examples that lots of people have done so bad.I have seen some people eat cats in uangzhou.That's so terrible !And I think if the animals can speak and act like human beings ,the first thing they may do is to revenge!
