Should YOU be allowed to own a gun?
The Constitution of the United States (specifically the Bill of Rights) permits Americans to own guns. While different states have different laws about weapons, if you are over the age of 18 (and you have not committed a crime), you are probably eligible to purchase a gun in America.
Of course, there are many people (inside and outside of the U.S.) who believe that our gun laws are outdated and dangerous. They believe that only law enforcement officials should be allowed to carry guns.
What do you think about this issue? Should YOU be allowed to carry a gun in China? And would you want to? Is there a reason for you to have a weapon?
And do you think that it's time for America to change these laws?

Gun is a dengerouse weapon .It can kill peple immediately .Some peple say that they use a gun to protect themslves.This is not a good reason .They can use a knife or something.SO I do not agree people to have a gun.

Of course I think we should not allowed to have guns.If someone that do some criminal actvities ,they will be more horrific.They can attact the plice and kill people easier.

I would say "no", I think only policemen, army staff should be able to have a gun. I am against the laws allowing private individuals to possess weapons.
I mean, if every person has a weapon，I would feel totally unsafe in a society where everybody can have a weapon.
i want to have a gun，but i am feared to do something wrong....so i prefer not to have a weapon.

i don not think owning a gun is a good thing ,because i think it is too dangerous ,maybe some time it will hurt someone. in this society ,i think the gun is not much useful ,because i think our country is safety, we don not need use the gun to protect ourselves. meanwhie i think if everyone has a gun the society will complicated.

In most situations, I do think being allowed to own a gun is dangerous.For some people,they can easier to do something bad with a gun.And there will be a lot of accidents when people can own a gun.

What would you do if you own gun? It make you cool or you want to protect somebody(something)? What kind of the reason, I think it'd better you should't be allowed to own a gun.

I think it is so danger to own a gun.There will no peace in the world.When the conflict happens between two people.It will very difficult to control yourself.

I do not agree that people can have guns. According to the law, Chinese citizens have guns is illegal, if China provides that citizens can have guns, then China may split faster, the society will be more confusing ! The policy of our country is very correct! When the guns more, the self-defense may have no meaning! Shooting will increase, we can not imagine what China will become then.

I support this right.Angelina Jolie is my favourite actress.she is very sexy and charming when shen has a gun in most of her film,although it is only in films.But in our real life ,people may think it is dangerous to have a gun.But every corn has two sides.It take sense of security too. Arafat once said i hold a gun in one hand and an olivia in other hand,in order to use this gun to protect the olivia.this mean guns or weapon can take much safety to us.

Maybe people think that if we have a gun, we can protect ourselves when we are trapped in danger, but do you think that if you has a right to have a gun, what about others? i think maybe the bad guys will do something bad with the gun,like rob,rape,theft and so on. at that time, you will be more danger ,also the society will be stick in chaos.

I think it would be better if guns are not allowed to own personally.How can you promise that no hurt will happen?There are a lot of ways to choose if we want to protect ourselves instead of owing a gun.It is a responsibility to not only your safe but also others'.

If you want to protect youself with some weapon,why not choose a knife or something else.Gun is too dangerous for ordinary people.Some crazy men will use the gun to kill people who he dislike.I think the law in American are outdated .We need a harmony society.

Chinese are, generally, peaceful people. Your culture values peace and social harmony. This is one of the many things that I enjoy about China.
My advice to everyone everywhere is to teach your children well, to be a good neighbor, and to support your local leaders and police in their efforts to maintain peace and harmony. Nothing good can come of violence.
I don't need a weapon. In a peaceful society, the best defense against violence is to maintain your moral values, and to lead others with your peaceful actions.

First, we all want the peace. Maybe someone will say that guns will give him the tool to protece his peace. Well,it is not! If there are no person taking the guns, all other persons will also not take it. And ,since we all ask for peace,the whole humans will try their best to remain the peace.

I think we shouldn't be allowed to own a gun in China.Because China's population more,Social security is not perfect.People's moral quality is not very high .If now everyone has a gun, social security will be out of control, crime rate will increase,so we shouldn't be allowed to own a gun now.However,In the future, our social security improvement and the quality improvement,people has guns can be achieved.

I don't believe we really need a gun to protect ourselves.As far as you know,once you own a gun,others can own it,too.The danger still exists,even more dangerous than before.SO everybody just try your best to keep yourself far away from the dangerous places.And that will be OK.
