What is the best THIRD language to learn?
Most of my English major students have the opportunity to pick up a third language when they become Sophomores. In my university, Japanese and Korean are the only third languages that are offered. Other universities around China offer Russian, German, French, and even Spanish courses. It seems to me though, that Japanese and Korean are the most popular third languages in China.
So what about you? If you had a choice between Russian,German,French,Spanish,Korean, or Japanese, which would you choose as a third language? Or is there another language that you are interested in learning?
And why do you think that it is important to learn your chosen language? How will it help you?

if i have a chance to choose my preferential third language，thereis no doubt that i will choose spanish.Because i think spanish is becoming more and more attracting，and out of surprise， i wonder whether it is funny or not，anyway i wanna have a try.

I'd have to say spanish .
After Chinese and English, Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world today. It is the official language of 21 countries and the second language in many more, such as the U.S. In addition，the use of Spanish is also growing in the business world.

I want to study Korean ,because I like Korean very much ,incluing the culture、 the food 、the clothes,so if I can have the chance to study Korean,I will be very happy.

Maybe French,France is one of the Europe country that has a long history. It contains many countries'official languages.

As for me,French must be the best third language to learn because I really want to live in France for a long time.What I think is that France is full of fragrance of romantic and fashion and I am looking forward to experiencing it.

We always truth it.I have no chioses to the Japennese.Because my parents let me done.Of course,I like Japennese than Korean.But now,if I have a lot of chioses,I think I will choose the French.I yearn for the Frence.Maybe it`s representative Freedom and Love and Romantic~~~Yearn for Lavender Garden~~

haha,I will choose French.For the reason, I think French is interesing and I like its accent as well as pronuciation.But there isn't French for us to choose in our school, so in the future if I have chance to learn it, I will try my best to learn it well.

I'd chonse Italian because I like the country Italy.And Spanish is widely used around the world.But I can only learn Japanese or Korean in our university,which disappoints me.

If there is a teacher who teaches us French,I will choose French without hesitation.Why?As is known to us,how romantic it is,so……Based on the situation,there are only two more language in our school for us to choose.As for me,I prefer Janpanese than Korean.The next term,come on!

I think I will choose Japanese as my third language. Japanese and Korean are the same for me to learn, because I know little about both of them. But maybe Japanese is more useful and powerful than Korean in the Asian area.

Oh,it seems a little late to show my opinion.
As far as i am concerned, your interest will decide your finally answer.For me,I will choose the Japanese.Communicating with others in Japanese or English is one of my small dream.Although I learn a little about it.What urges me to go on and never give up?Interest,I think,is the essence.

Japan is the most develping country around the world.Meanwhile,Japan has a huge market and plays an important part in our world.In terms of economy,I think Japan is the best country to invest.On one hand,many students study Japanese due to they think they could find a good job after graduating.On the other hand,Japanese is easier than any other third language,because some Japanese is from Chinese too.

Spanish.I just have a special disire to learn it. And it is becoming more and mmore popular. More and more companies in China have trades with Spanish-speaking countries. So it is a good choice.

I love the sound of french words.Even though I don't know the mean of the words when listening to french, I still enjoy it as it sounds like a appealing music.For my part,french is a mysterious and romantic language.
